This year, iSi is partnering with Mayhew Environmental Training Associates (META) to provide instructors for the state-recognized training courses.
Certificates for Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor, Management Planner, and Project Designer will be issued and certified per EPA regulations. This will allow you to work in states that only require federal regulations training. Thus, certificates would be good for Kansas, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico and any other EPA only state. With this certificate, if you find a later in the year you need to work in a different state who requires state-specific material in addition to the federal information, for many states you would have already had the federal part covered and just need to take the shorter state training.
We can provide additional state-specific training as part of our class if we know about it well in advance. If you need certificates for additional states, those will be available for an additional fee. Our partnership with META would be able to offer additional state-recognized training certificates for: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. Some states require additional testing, so there may be additional testing fees as well. Each state has its own requirements for notification that a class will be conducted, and these can be 2 to 4 weeks prior to the class. Depending on when you register, some states may or may not be available. Please contact us with your needs and we can provide information on availability and pricing for additional certificates and testing.
If you need initial training not provided below, please check out the META website above to find a class near you.
