CUSTOM EHS TRAINING
Training On Your Schedule, Using Your Programs
Although we have scheduled classes in three locations, the majority of our environmental, safety and hazmat shipping training is conducted through custom training. Custom training allows us to tailor the training to your facilities, your programs, and your schedule. Below are examples of some of the methods we can use to deliver training to your staff.
Onsite Training
With onsite training, iSi brings our instructors to your facility. This allows you to save travel costs, as well as train an entire group at a time. We can teach to your schedule, which is helpful for companies who have workers on multiple shifts. We can also break up our classes into sections to minimize the time your employees are away from their tasks. For classes needing hands-on activities, we can use your equipment and help plan scenarios using your facilities. Also, onsite classes are often shorter in duration than our scheduled classes because we can cover just the portions of the class that your facility needs.
Video Training
If you have classes you need to repeat often, such as new employee or contractor safety orientation, consider iSi’s video training. iSi can film site-specific procedures and facilities, then combine it with voiceover and to produce a simple video. iSi’s videos are a great budget-conscious option for routine, site-specific training.
Online Training
iSi can develop online training modules for your environmental and safety topics. If your company already has an online learning management system (LMS), iSi’s modules can incorporate into your existing system. If not, the online modules can be produced as a stand alone, self guided courses where you track course completions and quiz results. Or if you would like something more automated, we can help you find a learning management system that does the tracking for you.
Webinar Training
iSi can provide training to any location throughout the world through our teleconferenced training option. Through a service such as Go-To-Meeting, iSi can provide live webinar training. This type of training is great for general safety awareness classes, refreshers, and any topic which does not require a lot of hands-on exercises.
Guided Slides
Guided training takes slides with voiceover for a self-guided training option. Guided slides are great for one to two person classes, such as new employee orientation or annual training such as Respiratory Protection or Bloodborne Pathogens. This training would allow you to have workers complete training whenever they’re available. The training slides can be setup to advance on their own or at the employee’s control.
