RCRA HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT

Hazardous waste training for facility managers and environmental engineers per 40 CFR Parts 260-279 and per state and EPA guidelines. This class covers EPA and State of Nebraska hazardous waste requirements, good management practices and available resources. It fulfills RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. DOT HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

Meets the following training requirements of 49 CFR 172.704 (a): Awareness, Safety, Security Awareness and Function-Specific training for anyone who may prepare and offer or transport any hazardous material or hazardous waste in commerce by ground transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material, hazard class 7.

For anyone and everyone participating in pre-transportation functions for the shipping of hazardous materials by ground or anyone who is required to sign hazardous waste manifests.  Refreshers are due every 3 years. [More Info About DOT Training]

IATA HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

Training per IATA DGR 1.5.2 Category 1 Personnel. IATA’s Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) require the following training for all hazmat shipments sent by air. There are many changes each year, so make sure your refresher is current! This class includes General Awareness/Familiarization and Function-Specific detailed training for anyone who may prepare and offer any hazardous material in commerce by air transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material. For anyone and everyone participating in any portion of the shipping of hazardous materials by air including new students and refresher students. Refreshers are due every 2 years. IMDG shipping training

IMDG HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

Per IMDG Code 1.3: Awareness, Safety, Security Awareness and Function-Specific training for anyone who may prepare and offer for transport any hazardous material or hazardous waste in commerce by vessel. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material.  Anyone who places hazmat into shipping containers or sends hazmat-containing products to a third party who, in turn, puts it into a shipping container for vessel transport needs to follow the rules of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code.

For anyone and everyone participating in the shipping of hazardous materials by vessel who directly loads shipping containers or sends materials to be put into shipping containers by a third party, including new students and refresher students. Refreshers are due every 3 years. Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response per 29 CFR 1910.120(q) and 1926.65 and per OSHA and NFPA Guidelines. Training in how to protect workers, plan, prepare for, and manage incidental hazardous materials spills and incidents. Refreshers are due annually. [More Info About HAZWOPER]
