DOT HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

Meets the following training requirements of 49 CFR 172.704 (a): Awareness, Safety, Security Awareness and Function-Specific training for anyone who may prepare and offer or transport any hazardous material or hazardous waste in commerce by ground transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material, hazard class 7.

IATA HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

Training per IATA DGR 1.5.2 Category 1 Personnel. This class includes General Awareness/Familiarization and Function-Specific detailed training for anyone who may prepare and offer any hazardous material in commerce by air transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material.

IMDG shipping training

IMDG HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION

Per IMDG Code 1.3: Awareness, Safety, Security Awareness and Function-Specific training for anyone who may prepare and offer for transport any hazardous material or hazardous waste in commerce by vessel. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material. Anyone who places hazmat into shipping containers or sends hazmat-containing products to a third party who, in turn, puts it into a shipping container for vessel transport needs to follow the rules of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code.

For anyone and everyone participating in the shipping of hazardous materials by vessel who directly loads shipping containers or sends materials to be put into shipping containers by a third party, including new students and refresher students. Refreshers are due every 3 years. OSHA 30 HOUR GENERAL INDUSTRY

OSHA training for the 30 Hour course.  (Not trainer course)  For anyone wanting to learn more about general safety topics.  OSHA recommends supervisors attend this course.

Covers required topics introduction to OSHA, managing safety and health, walking and working surfaces (including fall protection), exit routes, emergency action plans, fire prevention pans, fire protection, electrical, PPE, materials handling and hazard communication.  Additional topics may include hazardous materials, permit-required confined spaces, lockout/tagout, machine guarding, welding/cutting/brazing, intro to industrial hygiene, bloodborne pathogens, ergonomics, powered industrial vehicles (classroom session) or safety and health programs. prior to the class, 
including no-shows, will be charged at the full rate for the class. Substitutions/replacement student registrations are welcome and accepted for no additional charge.  iSi reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. If this occurs, you may choose to transfer registration to the next available class or request a refund.
After a year’s hiatus, longtime iSi asbestos instructor, Ron Aunquoe, is back!  

iSi’s training is now once again accredited by the State of Missouri (Missouri Training Provider MO#126).  Your certificates will be issued per Missouri regulations, which will allow you to practice in Missouri and any other state which just requires EPA regulations training such as Kansas, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico and any other EPA only state.  Some additional states may also accept the Missouri certificate.

ASBESTOS CONTRACTOR/SUPERVISOR REFRESHER

Meets EPA AHERA, OSHA 1910.1001, and state training requirements for anyone supervising asbestos abatement activities of friable asbestos-containing building materials in a school or public and commercial building.  This may include persons who provide supervision and direction to workers performing response actions or foremen, working foremen, or lead men.   [More Info About Asbestos Training]

ASBESTOS OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE WORKER REFRESHER
